Is there anything better than fresh greenery during the Holidays? The look, the smell and the feeling that greenery invokes can be quite powerful.
When I created our Christmas tablescape for Leon's Hello Holiday guide, I wanted to create the same feelings – in miniature for each place setting. But rather than try to wrangle large greenery in a small space, I decided to use Rosemary sprigs from the grocery store!
Rosemary Wreath Place Cards
- rosemary sprigs
- twine or jute
- light weight card stock
- a printer
- this PLACE CARD TEMPLATE
- a marker.
1. Curve a sprig of rosemary around into a circle. You may have to snap the sprig a little to get it into a smooth circle, just be careful not to break it all the way through.
2. Tie with a twine or jute bow. Repeat for as many place cards as you need.
3. Print and cut out enough place cards from THIS PLACE CARD TEMPLATE.
4. Write one guest’s name on each place card and place one on top of each rosemary wreath.
And there you have a little bit of natural greenery at each and every place setting!
Have you used rosemary in place of traditional greenery before? Have you made any place cards that you've loved?
