Is anyone else happy it's finally here?
Of course you are!
With the arrival of slightly warmer temperatures and loads more sunshine, I've been busy adding Spring touches inside the house.
Today it's a little bit of Spring in the dining room.
While poking around online for Spring decor ideas, I sort of found a few new shops I adore.
(As if I needed any more places at which to spend my money!)
But do you wanna know a secret?
[Tweet “When shopping for home accessories, I choose items that can be used repeatedly each season. “]
I look for great shapes and neutral colors.
Then I just swap out things like fresh or faux flowers, moss, inexpensive banners, etc. with each change of season.
For instance to update the dining room for Spring, I used a couple of items I already had, plus I chose this turned mango wood candle holder set...
And this white dinnerware set. Both from Birch Lane.
Then I just added in some fresh pink tulips, a coffee cake and a sprig of fake blooms.
For another season I could change the candles, flowers and banner.
The lovely Havana gold boxes from last week's living room post are also from Birch Lane. Their contents can be switched out with the seasons too!
So there you have it, some lovely Spring decor – and one of my decorating secrets!
You're welcome. 🙂
Have you decorated for Spring? I guess the bigger question is – DO YOU decorate for Spring?
P.S. If you're one of our neighbors, I'm really sorry – we'll get to taking down the winter decorations outside very soon!
