What was once viewed as a nuisance in your house can now be used for getting in some exercise at home. Use your stairs to get in some extra steps. If you want to add in an arm workout while going up and down the stairs, grab a small bottle of fabric softener and lift it behind your head for a triceps workout. Just be careful as you go up and down the stairs, safety is always first.
3. Clear a Space in Your Living Room
If you want to work out in your living room, you really do not even need to watch fitness videos. There are many exercises you can do on your own. Decide which part of your body you want to tone, and go from there. Lunges, squats, planks, push-ups, crunches, high knees, and burpees are all just some examples of things to increase your heart rate and burn some calories. Not into doing any of those? 4. Get Creative With ‘Weights' Around Your House
You may wonder what kind of weight training workouts a person can do at home without spending money. Anything can be used as weights in your home. You can even use your own kids as weights.
