As I mentioned in this post, making the yard and lawn look pretty is my job. You know, because it's like decorating outdoors! The mister helps with any heavy lifting and our oldest helps by cutting the grass on occassion. But the garden and lawn care is left to me.
Since we moved into our new house late last fall, I honestly haven't really thought too much about the yard or the lawn. I have no idea if it was prepped properly for winter. But I know I want it to look nice – especially since I' have put a lot of thought into the other elements of the house's curb appeal (which I'm excited to share more about soon). 4 Tips to Get Your Yard Ready for Spring

3. Aerate your lawn. If your lawn is new (sodded or fully seeded within the last year) don't aerate. Otherwise aerating is very good for lawn health.
4. Overseed to fill in any gaps and thicken your lawn.
