Spring Table Setting

Is it spring yet?

Not quite. But Spring is coming!

Every year my sister and I trade off on hosting each of the three major holidays: Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Last year Dean and I hosted Easter and Christmas. This year we have Thanksgiving.

But can I tell you a secret? I find on the holidays we aren’t doing the hosting I’m less motivated to do all the decorating. It’s just not the same.

With Easter being so early this year – it’s in like three weeks! – plus with our kitchen renos, no dining room table and my sister hosting Easter, I’ve truthfully not done a spec of spring decorating.

Okay, I lie. I hung the green and cream berry wreath on the front door a few weeks ago.

But that’s the extent of it.

So I thought it might be fun to revisit our Spring Table Setting from last year.

Are you hosting Easter this year? Have you thought about your spring table setting? What table top decor are you loving?

You made me smile, Shauna! You know you’re a blogger when you want to come up with a tablescape “just in case”!!!

Get hold of a Hawaiian shirt (I bet you’ve got one of these as well. A montage specially edited for the occasion works best. Whenever you rent a book from them, they plant a tree to show the benefits of renting books.
