Ah, January. How I love your grey, rainy, snowy, uninspiring days. NOT!

While I certainly don’t feel all blah and depressed, I am struggling to find some inspiration for projects. To feel like working on something. To feel like making a mess of supplies and camera equipment.
I think the trouble is that we’ve just come out of mega holiday decorating and projects. And a birthday party. And I don’t feel like tackling a big project just yet. But that’s all that is on our list for 2012 so far – big projects.
- Shelves for living room
- Open storage shelves in the kitchen
- Patio
- Driveway (it’s full of potholes)
- Quarter Round in Living Room/Dining Room
- Baseboard in our bedroom
And so on.

So what’s a girl to do when she needs inspiration? Go looking for it, of course. ‘Cause if you look for it, it will come. Or was that “if you build it, they will come”? Hmm.

Anyway, nothing like some new images to spark some inspiration. Don’t ya think?!

OMG! Such awesome features!
There’s some pretty good inspiration, yes?
I hate you!
So jealous!!!
Have you ever tried to make your own stencil!
My problem is this: I would like to to do the same thing using the alphabet of my mother language “Berber” (The alphabet is known as Tifinagh).
Would you know how to make a stencil??
I would be so so so grateful!

Wow. I’m afraid making a stencil isn’t something we’ve tackled yet. The only way I’ve heard how is with a Cricut or other vinyl machine. All the best!
OH EMMMM GEEEE!! First and foremost, let me tell you guys that I am OBSESSED with your blog!! I just found it last night, and I could not stop reading it. You have an absolutely beautiful house {by the way, I would do anything if you would help me decorate my house}!! You my dear are adorable!!! thank you so much for sharing your enthusiasm with us!
Love these ideas- yes, fantastic inspiration for these blah-weather days!
Are you staying warm, Shauna? I hear you guys have quite the deep freeze out there.
Eh, it’s blah here too. I needed this dose of inspiration as well, so thanks!
For sure!
This inspiration is much needed as we are indoors more now that we have this chilly air at our backs!
It’s either below freezing here, or rainy. Weird mixture that definitely discourages being outside!
