We’ve been showing you bits and pieces of our new dining room for the last little while. (The whole reveal is coming soon.) In the meantime, we have another really simple project for you.
- 4′x15′ canvas drop cloth
- hem tape
- ironing board
- curtain rod
- curtain rings with clips
Step 1. Cut drop cloth in half, creating two pieces approximately 4′x7.5′.
Step 2. Iron out the fold lines, spritzing with water if necessary. Iron the raw edge down about 1/2″.
Step 3. Place hem tape in folded canvas and iron on one side and then the other to fuse together.
Step 4. Hang rod with appropriate hardware.
Step 5. Slip curtain rings onto rod and clip canvas onto ring clips.
Have you made any curtains for your house? What alternate uses have you found for drop cloths?
