May We Introduce You To Blogger Homes

**UPDATED: All Blogger Homes posts have been incorporated into AKA Design, to simplify our life! We’re loving showing off other blogger’s places and giving their blogs some traffic as well! Click here for the most recent Blogger’s Homes. **

Well, I’ve been tweeting, facebooking and advertising our new site, Blogger Homes, all over the internet for a couple of weeks now.

Everywhere but here, it seems!

Truthfully, I was way nervous for the launch. It’s like having a baby, starting another blog.

AKA Design will always be THE baby (of our blogs, not our actual kids!) because it is US. It’s our house, our business partnership, a whole lot of our life. But Blogger Homes was so needed. It was born out of the desire – and a paragraph I wrote down in my notebook over a year ago – to source all of my own favorite blogger’s home tours in one place.

Home bloggers are a stylish bunch. They decorate their kids rooms, the basement family room and every space in between… often on a wee little budget, occasionally with a larger bank account and sometimes with the help of generous sponsors. They DIY wall treatments, sew pillows and shop for the perfect pieces to complete a space.

In short so many blogger’s homes are just gorgeous and I wanted to make it easier to find their home tours!

Okay so how do you navigate so many beautiful spaces on Blogger Homes?

Blogger Homes By Room

At Blogger Homes, you can view submissions by room (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, etc). This viewing option is available in the menu bar under the title…

Or on the sidebar.

Blogger Homes by Style

You can browse by style. Do you love Eclectic decorating? Just scroll down and click Eclectic. Farmhouse decorating more your thing? Simply choose Farmhouse from the menu and you’ll be taken to a page of Farmhouse rooms that have been submitted.

Blogger Homes by Blogger

Or if you have a favorite blogger, you can see all the submissions by that blogger by choosing their blog name from the drop down list!

Each post on Blogger homes includes a description of the featured room, one teaser photo and a link to the blogger’s post about their room. That’s the great thing…we collect all of the blogger’s homes into one place to make searching easy, but each post links back to their blog, giving them the traffic and credit they deserve!

Okay, so can you tell I’m really excited about this?

We’ve had so many wonderful bloggers submit their rooms already.  The eye candy is amazing!

And of course, Blogger Homes is ALWAYS LOOKING FOR MORE SPACES AND ROOMS TO FEATURE. So if you are a blogger who has decorated rooms in YOUR OWN house, please visit the submissions page.

If you’re not a blogger, but have a few favorites you visit, let them know about Blogger Homes.

Have you visited Blogger Homes yet?

be what precisely I’m looking for. can you offer guest writers to write content
available for you? I wouldn’t mind creating a post or elaborating on many of the subjects
