Do any of you know how much I adore scented candles?
Well I do.
Like infatuated ADORE.
Not the Walmart, dollar store or grocery store versions.
Definitely NOT those.
The really really good ones. Particularly in bakery scents. Mmm.
So when Goose Creek Candle Co. emailed and asked if I’d like to try out their American Heirloom candles, I paused. What if they sent me one and I hated it? What would I do then?
I checked out their website.
I checked out what Miss Mustard Seed had to say.
And I thought I just might like these Goose Creek Candles. Maybe.
Imagine my absolute thrill when my package arrived today…and I LOVED the smell…BEFORE I EVEN OPENED THE BOX!!!
And then when I opened the box, and then each jar…I may or may not have shrieked!!
They smelled SO. DANG. GOOD!!!
Hazelnut Cream – A mouthwatering blend of toasted hazelnuts and creamy vanilla. The scent opens with sweet butter, coconut, and a hint of strawberry. The aromatic heart combines fresh roasted nuts and delicious rum liquor. The dry is a sugarcoated vanilla bean. Notes: hazelnut, butter, coconut, strawberry, rum liquor, vanilla bean.
Um. Yum.
How about Blueberry Passion? Delightfully juicy blueberry compote layered over creamy and rich homemade cheesecake. The bottom is a warm & buttery graham cracker crust. It smells so good you can taste it.
DELISH!
Left on my own I’d have a hard time choosing which scent to buy, with scents like Maple Toddy, Mulled Cider, Spice Cake and Whipped Pumpkin Latte.
And I’d probably have to wipe the drool from my chin.
Just sayin’.
And the packaging? The jar is an early 1900′s Victorian style, WITH NO LABEL and a gorgeous lid. Super awesome for decorating purposes!
I can honestly say I am a huge fan of Goose Creek Candles now!!!

Hi! Love your site and love your home! I, also, love scented candles. I have several jars on my kitchen counter now. I tried the scented oil diffuser, but I just don’t care for the look of them and I unknowingly spilled a drop of the oil and it took the paint off it. I have always been a big Yankee Candle Fan, not too far from their factory in MA. I have one of their candles which I love the scent, turn the label toward the back because it’s not very attractive. These candle jars are exactly what I have been looking for in a candle. The labeling is unobtrusive, appearing more like artwork, than advertising. Packaging is key, as much as wonderful scents. I have Crossroads “farmhouse” and “country breakfast” candle jars on my counter now, but even their “look” can’t compete with Goose Creeks. I love spicy scents for fall. It all looks right up my alley. I will check them out when I get the chance. Kim
I could not type my fav scent (fresh linen) on the raffle copter
I hope that I can still be considered to win….would love love to have one in my home. Thanks

One more thing … Loved your house tour and am so impressed with your creativity and decorating vision. The script on the wall is amazing, as well as, so many gret touches. Hard work, but your end result speaks for itself. Lovely home and lovely family. You are duly blessed. Thanks again for your review and discount offer. I will definitely check out Goose Creek’s site today.
