How many of you noticed that our girls’ room was finished in our moving announcement post the other day?
If you did, you have good eyes!
Last weekend, in the midst of installing quarter round, painting trim and other get-the-house-ready-to-list clean up, we also put the finishing touches on Lilly and Meg’s room.
And then we rushed to photograph it all!
As we mentioned when we shared the before photos of their room, we didn’t want to redo everything. There was no need. We just wanted to grow the room up a little, add a little decorative oomph and (after we decided to put the house up for sale) make sure everything was portable too.
In other words, we decorated this room on a small-ish budget and in another post we’ll share how you can do the same, whether you own a house, have a rental place or even if you live in a dorm!
How about a few more pretty in pink (and purple) photos?
Watch for our girls’ room budget breakdown, source list, DIY projects and ideas for creating a space that’s both budget friendly AND suitable for just about any living situation!
What do you think of our girls’ new room? Do any of your kids have very definite colour preferences, like our girls? Have you shopped for kids room decor lately?
This makeover project was sponsored by Bouclair who graciously provided decorating pieces for our girls’ room, after both our girls’ giddily chose what they would like best. All opinions, applications and photographs are our own.
