Yesterday we shared our Fall Table & Dining Room, so we thought it would be fun to go outside and show you our fall front porch.
Well, it’s really more of an old-fashioned stoop.
A set of concrete steps with a very small landing.
Only slightly covered by an old metal awning.
You get the idea.
I wish we had a full-on country porch.
Maybe one day.
For now I’m thankful for a little stoop to decorate with mums and pumpkins and chalkboards.
How’s your fall outdoor decor going?
P.S. I bought two mums and a white pumpkin at the local garden centre for our fall porch. I made the chalkboard from a piece of mdf we had on hand, some black craft paint and the new DecoArt Americana Clear Chalkboard Coating – super amazeballs stuff that turns anything into a chalkboard! Everything else I already had. Yay for another inexpensive makeover!

I love it! You really did a beautiful job with the space you have.
I haven’t seen that chalkboard top coat, I will look for it the next time I’m at the craft store.

We love our red door!!!
Love it! The chalkboard is esp sweet! Did you paint your chair or buy it that way? I have the same chair in natural and I think I want to paint it but want some tips on how best to do it – any suggestions?

We bought the chair on kijiji – it was green! I sprayed it with a grey primer and then black. It really needs a second coat of black!
I like your “No Soliciting” sign.
Your whole porch looks great!

Love the chalkboard and even the idea of putting one outside. I just finished my outside decorating yesterday, but now I may need to add one!
It’s a bit of a gamble with the weather…but I love the look SO much I just had to add it! Have fun with yours!

Even a small space can be fab…
So sweet, love what you did with the space you have, and the chalkboard is the star of the show! Our main front door ‘porch’ is smaller than that, we don’t use that door so if I decorate I can fit one planter. lol My dream is to expand across the front windows of the office…like you said, one day…

Yes, someday! I’d love a front porch that spans the front if our house too!
I know it sounds cheap, however, I came across an incredible classic outdoor lantern on
a hard rubbish set over the weekend! Now
I am looking for wrought iron outdoor chairs to match.
You know precisely what they say, one mans trash is another
mans treasure!
