DIY Photobooth & Doin’ It Yourself Link Party #14

Earlier this week we showed you a few pics of Dean’s 40th birthday party. When we mentioned the photobooth that we set up, some of you wanted a little bit more info. So while it’s not exactly a house DIY project, it was pretty easy and loads of fun.

All you need are some props, either paper cutouts or dress up clothes,

A simple backdrop like a sheet,

And you need a camera on a tripod. You can either have someone take the photos or if you’re real fancy schmancy and you have one of those remote thingys for your camera, you can let people do it themselves. Then just let loose and play!

Easy peasy! And really really simple!

And since that wasn’t too much of a DIY, how about I show off just a couple of my favourite links from last week?

Now it’s your turn!!!

Only two rules:

  1. Your project must be created by you in some way. BIG OR SMALL! Have fun!
  2. Link back to us, either by text link or button that’s found on our sidebar.

PLEASE LET YOUR FRIENDS KNOW ABOUT THE PARTY…WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE EVEN MORE PEOPLE LINK UP TO SHARE!!!

  2. Thanks, guys, for the feature! So glad I discovered you …. so enjoy your blog. :)

    Blessings……

  3. Thank you for the tutorial on the photo booth. OK, I’m giggling too at it’s simplicity, but knowing how easy it is sure gives me the confidence to make one of my own. Now I just need to find a reason for a party!

P.S. Loved the pillows and the subway art too, so went and checked them out.
