Okay, so I was stalking scrolling through The Lettered Cottage How To Party again when I found a link to a blog called {show & tell} whom I liked immediately – I think it’s the fun brackets they use just like us!.
Anyway, they posted a how-to about aging new wood.
I’ve already mentioned that we are planning to DIY an industrial chic vintage wood and metal dining table after our renos. We were planning to source some reclaimed boards - at a big cost I’m sure.
But with {show & tell}‘s uber awesome tips and how-to…we’re thinkin’ we could save big and use new wood.
And I’m thinking we could take it a step or two further and bang up the new wood and give it a walnut stain for even more aged patina style.
