Fall DIY Projects Revisited

Can you believe it’s the middle of August already?

You do know what that means, yes?

It means that FALL is coming!

Now I adore summer: the sun, swimming, no schedule, ball games, etc. But I think I equally crave the autumn’s cooler weather, sweaters, back to school organization and the decorating! Some of my favourite decorations come out in the fall: pumpkins (orange and white), leaves, pine cones, even burlap seems more at home in the fall.

To get us in the mood for the coming season, I thought it might be fun to revisit a few of our fall decorating projects from last year

This year I hope to tackle a few more fall-related DIY/crafty projects – I’ve got some great ideas percolating in my brain.

What about you? Do you love fall? Or do you mourn the end of summer? Do you like to create fall decorations? Or are you an avid autumn deals shopper?

  4. I am starting my fall projects as well. Volleyball, soccer and basketball have started for my girls, and our calendar stays so full! If I don’t get started working on some things now, my house would be bare of fall decorations, and it is one of my favorite seasons! (I can never decide which one I like best – I am always ready for the next one when it gets here!) Your decorations are just beautiful! Simple, elegant, yet warm and inviting!
