Is it silly to call a table-scape a reveal? Oh well – it’s my blog and I’ve done a tonne of projects for it, so that’s what I’m callin’ it! I’ve been prepping for this reveal for a few weeks. I made Ikea Hack Placemats, Chalkboard Chargers, Free Printable Placecards & Linen Napkins. And last night I arranged three kinds of flowers {just don’t ask me what they are!} in seven different mason jars. I scoured the Internet for photos of centerpieces for all seasons and barn wedding decor. Yes, I said BARN WEDDING! All for this reveal. I didn’t want your typical pastel bunny Spring/Easter table!
And I’m thrilled with the results!
Are you ready for a gazillion pictures? Have a look.
Spring Easter Table Reveal
First I layered the table with our homemade linen runner and a length of burlap garland from Michaels.
Then I added the numbered placemats, placing the numbers randomly around the table in no particular order.

Next came the chalkboard chargers, dinner plates & salad plates…
…linen napkins, placecards, mini nests (found at Walmart!) and faux eggs (leftover from last year).
As I mentioned, I bought three types of flowers/fill from the Superstore last night. I have no idea what they’re called; the florist wasn’t in the store. But I had paid close attention to how she had arranged the flowers back when I needed a few arrangements for our TV appearance on Steven & Chris. So I winged it all by myself! What do you think, not bad, eh?
To add some more texture, I tied burlap garland on each of the chairs.
Just a simple knot, with lots of extra length to hang down.

Wine glasses and cutlery add some sparkle to contrast the rougher textures of the burlap & nests.
And if you’re just not into eggs and nests {really?}, or you’d like to adapt the look for any time of year, you can use something else like an apple at each place!
What do you think? Would you call that a reveal? What elements do you love? Are you a fan of barn wedding style? Or would you rather bunnies and pastels at your Easter table?

Shannon, this looks absolutely gorgeous! Can I come for Easter?!? Love the table runner and all the elements you’ve shown us over the past few weeks. I also love the burlap garland on your chairs and the flower arrangements in the jars. Just so lovely. Happy Easter to your family!

It’s hard to choose a favorite!! I live the mason jars and the chargers!!
Beautiful, beautiful! Love the flowers with the green and purple–they really pop against the rest of the neutrals. All of your DIY’s look great too-you would think that table would have cost a fortune. We don’t do anything too fancy around here, but the rest of my decor is a mix of neutral and bunnies–love me a cute white ceramic bunny! And this year I have left up the pink and green bunting/decorations from my daughter’s 1st birthday party 2 weeks ago, so I guess pastels too!
Colour was something I watched the florist play with last time. And white ceramic bunnies are cute!
Your table looks gorgeous! I am all about the barn style! Thank you for hosting and I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter weekend.

Thanks, Catherine – Happy Easter to you too!
I never really considered myself a fan of barn chic, but I absolutely LOVE this table! I especially enjoy the runner, chair garland, and chargers. It is such a lovely calm-looking space, your guests will truly adore their celebration.
It’s funny how sometimes we think we don’t/won’t like something based on it’s name!!! I wouldn’t think I’d like barn chic either by the name…but I love it!
Your table looks amazing! So much thought put into it…well done! Enjoy your Easter!

Oh, Shan! What a stunning spring table display! You did an amazing job at setting an elegant but relaxing atmosphere. I love it! Great job!
Thank you so much Roeshel!!!
what a lovely Easter table. I love everything you put together. The mason jars down the middle of the table look stunning and the added touch of the burlap on the chairs really ties the look together. I also enjoyed your shot of the table with the apples instead of the nests. Just by changing out one detail changes the look entirely.
Have a Happy Easter!
