On Fridays we have a little extra fun at {aka}|design – because we share five random things from our week: design inspiration, amazing etsy shops, fun family stuff. Sometimes we just share things that were amusing. In any case, Friday Five it is!
1. Thanks to this pin on Pinterest, my stove currently holds a pot full of deliciousness. It smells pretty good – sort of like baking and cooking something delish at the same time. I may or may not have added extra Vanilla. Like a lot.
2. I posted about our spread in Italy’s Casa Romantica Shabby Chic here. Well yesterday, I received a hard copy in the mail. It’s totally cool to see ourselves in print, I must say!
3. Holly from Down to Earth Style just posted about her top secret way to glaze cupboards. AND IT ROCKS!
4. Kristyn made the most adorable Subway Printed Easter Eggs.
5. Every week we have a DIY Link Party (check out this week’s) so you can show off your creations, projects and DIY. Next week is an extra special party because we want you to share your Easter/Spring tablescapes, place-settings & centerpieces. So from Thursday April 5th to Tuesday April 10th you can share your Easter tablesettings or Spring decor. Pass it on…
So what have you been up to this week? What have you got planned for the weekend?

LOVE those subway easter eggs–I am no good at “drawing” on eggs, but I think I could manage sticking! Will have to try!
I know, right?!
Thank you for featuring my subway art eggs!! You guys are awesome. Super cute site!
Thanks, Kristyn! Fab idea, btw!
Love the eggs and the glazing technique. Have a great weekend!
