Since we live in a wee small bungalow, I don’t currently have a full-on office space. Instead I work from a gorgeous desk (that Dean and a coworker created for me) in our dining room.
But as this little blog grows, and I work on more projects, I’m finding I need more storage and better organization. So I went searching for a little inspiration. Here’s what I came up with!

Sorry this is so small…but how cool? Via.
So if we keep the office space in the same space, I’m thinking I need some shelves on the wall. What do you think? Do you have an office at home? Where do you pay the bills from?

P.S. We’ll be back later with a tour of the new site design. What do you think so far?

We have a spare bedroom, and have guests stay frequently. We look the double closet, and converted it into an office nook. I used an MDF piece for the “desk”, cut it to fit, and have framed cork boards, and high shelves (because it was a closet) where we keep our books, papers, and under the “desk” is our filing cabinet system.
Works for us!
Sounds fabulous Julie! We’ve talked about making our closet into an office nook…still not sure though. All the other closets are full! Ha!
I love the new design and your desk is gorgeous. I think shelves would be great to help with storage. I too don’t have a separate area and my desk is up in our living room. I’m currently thinking I need a bit more storage too.
I think I shall look for some shelving inspiration next!
I love your desk– it’s beautiful. I think adding some shelves would be a great idea. Luckily, I have my own home office. I’m still working on the organization aspect though.
Organizing can be a process, can’t it?
