If you’ve got good eyes, you saw a sneak peek of our fall decorated hutch in the last post. In this post I’m going to break it all down for you!
Some items remain the same in the hutch regardless of the season. The drawers hold all of our homeschooling supplies. And the upper glass cabinet holds clear glass items like wine glasses, beer glasses, vases, serving bowls, a gravy boat, and just below eye level are our silver-coloured chargers.
As for decorations, there is of course the burlap banner. LURVE!
Almost always out on the hutch too are the little faux muffins (they’re actually candles) that I swear one day my nephew is going to eat when I’m not looking! They are from a little online shop called Long Cane Primitives. Our white pitcher is filled with some twigs and berries.
And there are some fabulous faux caramel apples too. I had to search around quite a bit to find these and in the end found them on etsy. The seller is Oodlekadodle Primitives and she is lovely! They look so real!
Tucked into the back is a length of leaves and berries that I actually found at Dollarama. Sometimes you can find some really good fake flowers there – and sometimes not so much. These rusty coloured leaves were a good find.
In back there is a framed stitchery that says “give thanks”. Dean made the frame and I made the tea stained stitchery ages ago. I love to pull it out for fall.
And just in case you wanted to know the cake stand came from Homesense and the little appetizer plates and stand is from Pampered Chef.
That’s the first little spot decorated for fall. Have you put out any decorations yet? Or are you desperately trying to hold onto August?
