It seem that I have a thing for letters and numbers in decorating these days. Perhaps it’s because I was a graphic designer in a past life. (Well, not really a past life, but it sure seems like a long time ago). I adore all the vinyl wall graphics that are out there (read my post about a few suppliers of these decorating gems here). Today I wanted to share a few more fun images using letter and numbers.
I first came across this photo of a great idea for dining room chairs on a fellow decorator’s blog, Room Remix. (It’s originally a photo from Traditional Home’s site). I love the idea of having everyone’s space clearly marked for them in such a fun way. There are always arguments at our house (since there are five of us) over who sits beside who, perhaps some of these would help.
The next photo I found at Small Place Style’s blog. It is subtle, yet so typographical.

Numbers dishware (below) are by Christopher Jagmin Design. The black and white designs are so much fun that Ty Pennington shared them with Women’s Day as one of his favourite finds for 2010. How fun would these be mixed in with a few simple white dishes on a tablescape?

I love the alphabet on the wall
I love the alphabet wall! so cute. I think numbers and letters are so fun. In our living we have our wedding date framed a happy reminder of the ‘big day’ and a letter S for our last name.
