After a busy {but FUN!} long weekend away in Niagara Falls, we don’t have any new projects to report…at least not today. 
Instead we will share what we came up with after briefly rearranging the living room (we have friends coming to visit this weekend…Am I the only one who feels the desire to give guests something new to look at when they visit?).
But first, let’s reminisce. When we moved in our living room was YELLOW. Not a nice butter yellow, but vomit yellow with awful yellow trim. And some totally vintage retro curtains. We painted and put up new curtains. We refinished our heavy pine pieces. And then we had an ice-damming leak, and had to redo the ceiling and floors. We thought, “what the heck!” why not get a few new pieces to spruce up the old. And that would be where we are now.
And AFTER (again!)…although I’m pretty sure it’s still not permanently finished!

If you look closely, you will see that there is one white and one black end table…Dean is leaning toward black and I like the white. Hmm. Which do you like better?

Love the colors in this room! I think they both look good, but maybe if you go with the white you could paint the lamp base black??? Love the way it turned out, even if you keep the tables as-is!!

Hope you don’t mind me just weighing in now, but I think the white table looks better because it contrasts with the black sofa better. Just my humble opinion.
