So I am still being den-mommy to five little people, but thankfully I am feeling much better with only a residual cough leftover from that virus. With my nephews here we’ve done the zoo, gone out for dinner, bowled, watched my son’s baseball practice, visited the book store, jumped on the trampoline, built with Lego and played at two parks. Later on today we’re going to meet Dean at the movies. I have no idea what to fill tomorrow with. Yikes!
While the munchkins are all currently amused with Lego, a movie, some crafts and the ds, I thought I’d pop in real quick and post some more living room photos. We’re not quite finished, but it’s progress!

I think it looks great. But if you are looking for something above the chairs stilll…What about a mirror above the chairs hung from wires from the ceiling? Gallery style-ish.

Oh Kelsey, it is the comfiest rug on bare toes! My kids have played on it all week. We bought it at Home Depot of all places!

love the room, great job. Have been contemplating buying a rug just like that, but have kids and a young dog…..how do you think it will hold up to those “challenges?” Does it vacuum up well? How much was yours at Home Depot?

Thank you, we are very much enjoying the space.
We’ve only had the rug for a couple of weeks, but the dog has already peed on it! Lol. It came up just fine with a towel, didn’t go through to the new laminate underneath, left no marks and doesn’t smell at all. The rug is so soft and cozy. It’s polyester I think, so it is quite stain resistant. We paid $200 plus taxes, which is an incredible price compared to other rugs of this size (8′x10′)!
