On a random visit to our local Millwork store this past weekend, I fell in love. With paint. Well, a paint company to be exact. Pittsburgh Paints.
I have been a die-hard Behr user since we bought our first house. Mostly because it seemed abundant at the only big box store in our last hometown. But, since we’ve decided to branch out and help others with their design dilemmas and we now live near a plethora of paint suppliers, I thought I’d check out other paint companies. Which is what caused me to wander over to the big beautiful Pittsburgh Paints display at Millwork.
To show you what I was so excited about, have a good look at these:
Pittsburgh Paints calls this their Harmony Collection. On their site, they describe it like this:
“…we created the Voice of Color Harmony Collection, where we have simplified the color spectrum into 9 exciting color families, one of which is certain to suit your personality or style. In each family, our 5-color designer palettes offer color inspiration. Each palette evokes a unique ambiance, and acts as a guide to help you create beautiful and harmonious atmospheres for your home.”
Haven’t they done an incredible job in taking the guesswork out of picking colours for your home? I just love that each 5 colour designer palette shows such gorgeous options for coordinating colours, that could be used for paint of course, but also for furniture and accent pieces, and with a vision-invoking description of the base colour on the back of the card!
All this talk of paint made me wonder what paints everyone else loves. So here’s a poll to find out!
